Bob Reiger’s Historic ‘57 has new life!

BREAKING NEWS!! 

Tonight, on the Drag Drive Repeat Show presented by Summit Racing Episode 78, Brian and Jesse Havlik gave us an exclusive opportunity to bring you BREAKING NEWS about the future of Bob Reiger’s ‘57 Chevy and how it will play a pivotal role in the growth of the Havlik’s Fastest Street Car Shootout Tribute and Reunion Race. 

Reiger’s ‘57 Future

After attending the event, the current car caretaker Mike Hayden, has committed to getting the car back in race-ready form. The Havlik’s will keep the car at their shop and prepare it to race in the 2025 event. 

But first, they will be preparing the car for PRI 2024 to be the display car in the Havlik’s Booth as a promotional piece for the Havlik’s Fastest Street Car Shootout Tribute and Reunion Race 2025!! Make sure to stop by Booth 2238 to see Brian and Jesse and this historic car!

Future Events

The event will expand to three days. The team is looking at possibly even putting together three events as a series! A West Coast event and an East Coast Event that would qualify racers for the Main Event in Iowa! 

We appreciate them coming on the Show (Episode 78 - WATCH HERE) to give a recap and tell the story of how this event came to be!
