Sick 66 Week 2024: Quickest Winners and Unforgettable Moments

The Edelbrock Sick 66 event by Sick the Magazine, held from October 10th to 18th, 2024, was a remarkable journey along the historic Route 66, covering over 1,300 miles and featuring six different race tracks. This unique drag and drive event brought together a diverse group of competitors from across the US and Canada!

Among the standout participants was Tom McGilton, known for piloting the Why Not Camaro, a 195 mph 2017 Camaro. This sentiment was evident throughout the Edelbrock Sick 66, as participants supported each other, celebrated achievements, and shared in the collective experience of this unique journey along Route 66 from Springfield, MO to Roswell, NM.

The Edelbrock Sick 66 was more than a race; it was a testament to the enduring spirit of automotive enthusiasts and the bonds formed through shared passion and adventure. Travelling along Route 66 with 200+ cool cars creates memories that will last a lifetime. Sick the MAgazine did an incredible job with the event and we look forward to what they have in store for the Sick Smokies and Sick Michigan Miles events in 2025.
