Sick Summer is underway!!

Sick Summer Day One is underway with some amazing racing and live stream!!

The second National level event of the year is already stacking up impressive runs! The event kicked off with Alan Whitaker and Doug Cook as the first pair down the track. Both racers made incredible passes, with both running more than 200 mph! Doug being the quickest at 204.53 and Alan at 200.53 MPH!

The track team made sure the track was sticky enough to see racers like Cleetus MCFarland go 6.68 at 220 MPH, Tom McGilton run 7.39 at 193 mph, and the quickest racer of the early session, Bryant Goldstone running 6.40 at 225 MPH! Bryant may have added a new Personal Best 1/8 mile as well, running a 4.22! Blayne Stark made a great pass in Motion Racework’s El Toro Mustang with his 5.26 1/8 mile Rowdy Radial class pass.

In the Sick Street Race, Cameron Alley led with an 8.511. Brian Acton put down an 8.54, Jeremy Ortiz running an 8.61. A few of our other #racecarfriends are out making passes as well, Raj with the Oldsmobile covered the quarter mile in 9.867 seconds, Trevor Branden in the GTR ran 8.37 at 172 mph.

We are planning to go Live tonight with Eric to discuss the day and hear stories from the pits. Make sure you are subscribed to the Drag Drive Repeat Youtube channel for the most up to date news and stories!
