Top Three 1/8 Mile Racers for 2024!
As the drag and drive community continues to grow, we see more and more ⅛ Mile events or classes begin to populate the schedule. This year alone, we saw more than 1000 racers compete in ⅛ mile events or classes across National events! That is up by nearly 150% from 2023 when 670 competitors ran it to half track.
We understand racers may have gone faster to the ⅛ on their way to the blistering ¼ mile passes we saw this year, but, none of the ¼ mile events collect the racers ⅛ mile ETs on a ¼ mile pass. So, for now, we will award the Top ⅛ Mile Racers for their accomplishment during an event or class that is dedicated to the 660 foot race. These racers competed in National Level events, which are 4 days or more of schedule racing.
While we wait for the Southeast Street-N-Yeet data to be posted, we will only release the Top Three in this category. These racers will be awarded and recognized during the Drag & Drive Awards presented by Summit Racing during the Performance Racing Industry 2024 tradeshow. PRI is the largest racing focused tradeshow in the world with more than 70,000 annual visitors and more than 1200 vendors! These racers will be presented a custom trophy and have their name called for the people at home watching on the Drag Drive Repeat Live Stream!
