Better Airflow, Better Looks

Introducing Trim Rings by 815 LSx Swaps

Parts for his own drag and drive build, and yours

In the fast-paced world of automotive innovation, Eric White from 815 LSx Swaps and Drag Drive Repeat created a product while building his own drag & drive vehicle. Designed to optimize airflow and cool engine temperatures, these trim rings are not just an accessory but a performance enhancement tool. “When I first mounted my intercooler, the majority of it was covered up behind the bumper so I looked online and wasn’t able to find a product that would fit my needs. Having experience with CAD and 3d printing, I designed up a trim ring and 3d printed the first one to make sure it would fit and had the first one made on a plasma cutter which you can still see on my car today” says Eric.

Turbocharged engines thrive on efficient airflow. The trim rings from 815 LSx Swaps were designed to facilitate the entry of fresh air through the front bumper of the car. This additional airflow helps in cooling the engine while driving on a drag & drive or forcing air into the turbo(s) while on the track.

Aesthetic Airflow

Laser cut from 5052 aluminum, they seamlessly integrate into the front bumper of various vehicle models, primarily different generations of mustangs currently. This integration not only enhances the aesthetic appeal versus hole saw cuts in the bumper, but also ensures that the airflow is directed exactly where it's needed most – towards the turbocharger and other critical engine components.

Customer satisfaction has been great with customers commenting on the quick shipping of products and the overall communication from start to finish. Eric makes it a point to follow up with customers once the product arrives and asks for photos once they have been installed, and you can see many of those photos below.
